A    ^noteO God, þe; Heithen are fallen in to thine heretage: thy holy temple haue they defyled, and made Ierusalem an heape of stones. ^noteThe deed bodies of thy seruauntes haue they geuen vnto þe; foules of the ayre to be deuoured, and the flesh of thy sayntes vnto þe; beestes of the londe. Their bloude haue they shed like water on euery syde of Ierusalem, and there was no m&abar; to burie them. ^noteWe are become an open shame vnto oure enemies, a very scorne and derision vnto them that are rounde aboute vs.

LORDE, how longe wilt thou be angrie? shal thy gelousy burne like fyre for euer? Poure out thy indignacion vpon the Heithen that knowe the not, ^note and vpon the kyngdomes that call not vpon thy name.

For they haue deuoured Iacob, and layed waiste his dwellinge place. ^noteO rem&ebar;bre not oure olde synnes, but haue mercy vpon vs (∧ that soone) for we are come to greate mysery. B   Helpe vs (O God o&highr; Sauyo&highr;) for þe; glory of þi; name: o delyuer vs, ∧ forgeue vs o&highr; synnes for þi; names sake. Wherfore shall þe; Heith&ebar; saye: where is now their God? ^noteO let the vengeaunce of thy seruauntes bloude that is shed, be openly shewed vpon the Heith&ebar; in oure sight. O let the soroufull sighinge of the presoners come before the, and acordinge vnto þe; power of thine arme, preserue those þt;

are appoynted to dye. And for the blasphemy wher &wt; o&highr; neghbours haue blasphemed þe;, rewarde th&ebar; (o LORDE) seu&ebar;folde in to their bosome. So we þt; be þi; people ∧ shepe of thy pasture, shal geue the thankes for euer, ∧ wil allwaye be shewinge forth thy prayse more ∧ more.
