1 Beseleel forsothe made also the arke
of the trees of Sichym, hauynge two cubites
and an half in lengthe, and other
half cubijt in brede, and the hi&yogh;te was of
other half cubijt; and he clothid it with
moost puyr gold with ynne, and with
oute.
2 And he made to it a goldun crown
bi enuyroun,
3 &yogh;etynge foure goldun rynges
bi foure corners of it, two rynges in the
to side, and two in the tother.
4 And he
made berynge staues of the trees of Sichym,
which he clothide with gold,
5 and
the whiche he putte into the rynges that
weren in the sides of the arke, to bere it.
6 And he made the propiciatorye, that is,
Goddis spekynge place, of moost puyr
gold, of two cubites and an half in
lengthe, and of other half cubijt in brede.
7 Also two cherubyn of gold forgid, whiche
he putte on either side of the propicyatorie,
8 o cherub in the ouermest hei&yogh;t of
the o parti, and `that other cherub in
the ouermest hei&yogh;t of `that other parti;
two cherubyn in either hei&yogh;tis of the propiciatorye,
strecchynge out the wenges,

and couerynge the propiciatorye, and hem
seluen togidere, and it a&yogh;enbiholdynge.
10 And he made the meet bord of trees of
Sichym, in lengthe of two cubites, and in
brede of o cubijt, that hadde in hei&yogh;t o
cubijt and an half.
11 And he enuyrounde
it with moost clene gold, and he made to
it a goldun brerde bi enuyroun;
12 and to
thilke brerde a goldun coroun bitwix
grauen of foure fyngris, and vpon it another
goldun coroun.
13 And he &yogh;etide foure
goldun cercles, the whiche he putte into
the foure corners, bi eche feet of the bord
a&yogh;en the coroun,
14 and he putte into hem
berynge staues, that the bord my&yogh;te be

born.
15 And thilk berynge staues he made
of trees of Sichym, and enuyrounde hem
with gold.
16 And the vessels to dyuerse
vses of the bord, eysel vessels, fiols, and
litil cuppes, and ensensers of moost clene
gold, in the whiche ben sacrifice `of licours
to ben offerd.
17 And he made a candilstik,
forgid of moost clene gold, of
whose berynge staf, &yogh;eerdis, cuppis, and
bollis, and lilies &yogh;eden out;
18 sixe in either
side, three &yogh;eerdes on o side, and thre on
the tother; thre cuppes in the maner of
a note thur&yogh; eche &yogh;erdes, and litil ballis
togidere, and lilies;
19 and three cuppes at
the liknes of a note in o &yogh;eerde, and ballis
togidere, and lilyes; the werk was euen
of six &yogh;eerdes, that &yogh;eden out of the stok
of the candelstik.
20 In that forsothe berynge
staf were foure cuppes, in maner of
a note, and balles thur&yogh; ech, and lilies;
21 and the balles vnder the two &yogh;eerdes bi
thre places, the whiche togidere maken
six &yogh;eerdes, goynge out of o berynge staf;
and thanne the ballis,
22 and &yogh;eerdes of it
weren alle forgid of moost clene gold.
23 And he maad seuen lanternes with her
candelquenchers, and the vessels, where
the snuffes ben quenchid, of moost clene
gold.
24 A talent of gold peyside the candelstik
with alle his vessels.
25 And he maade
the auter of maad ensence of the trees
of Sichym, hauynge thur&yogh; square eche
cubitis, and in hei&yogh;t two, of whose corners
&yogh;eden out hornes.
26 And he clothide it with
moost clene gold, with the fier panne,
and walles, and hornes;
27 and he made to
it a litel golden crown by enuyroun, and
two goldun rynges vnder the crown, bi
eche sides, that in hem ben put yn the
berynge staues, that the auter may be
born.
28 Thilke forsothe berynge staues he
made of the trees of Sichym, and he couerde

with goldun plates.
29 And he made
oyle to oynement of halowyng, and the
maad ensence of moost clene swete smellynge
spices, with the werk of pymentarye.
