1 Thanne diden Beseleel, and Oliab, and
eche wise man, to whom the Lord &yogh;aue
wisdom and vndirstondynge, that thei
cowden craftili worche that ben necessarie
into the vses of the seyntuarie, and
that the Lord hath comaundide to be
maad.
2 And whanne Moyses hadde clepide
hem, and eche taw&yogh;t man, to whom
the Lord hadde &yogh;eue wisdome, and that
wilfulli hadden offerd hem to make the
werk,
3 he toke to hem alle the &yogh;iftis of the
sones of Yrael. The whiche whanne thei
stoden stedfastly to her werk eche daye,
eerly the puple offerde the auowes.
4 Wherfor
the crafti men constreyned to come,
seiden to Moyses,
5 The puple more offerith
than is nede.
6 Thanne Moyses comaundide
in the voyce of a bedel to be cryde, Neither
man ne womman eny thing more
offre in the werk of the seyntuarie; and
so was ceesside fro the &yogh;iftis to ben offerd,
forthi that the offred thinges sufficeden,

and aboundide more ouer.
8 And
alle the wise men in herte maden to fille
the werk of the tabernacle ten cortyns of
bijs foldun a&yogh;en, and iacynct, and purpur,
and cocto twies dyed, with diuers werk,
and with browdrye craft.
9 Of the whiche
oon hadde in lengthe ei&yogh;te and twenti cubites,
and in brede foure; o mesure was
of alle the cortyns.
10 And he ioynede fyue

cortyns either to other, and othere fyue
he cowplede togidere to hem seluen;
11 and
he made iacynctyne oyletis in the hemme
of the o cortyn on either syde,
12 and in the
hemme of the other also, that the oyletis
my&yogh;ten come a&yogh;ens hem seluen togidere,
and togidere be ioyned;
13 wherfore and
fifti golden cerclis he &yogh;eetide, that my&yogh;ten
hold the oiletes of the cortyns, and that
there were maad o tabernacle.
14 And he
made enleuen sarges of the heeris of
goote, to couere the roofe of the tabernacle;
15 o sarge in lengthe hadde thretti
cubitis, and in brede foure cubitis; of o
mesure weren alle the sarges;
16 of whom
fyue he ioynede a side, and othere six atwynne.
17 And he made fifty oyletis in
the hemme of the o sarge, and fifti in
the hemme of the tothir sarge, that to
hem seluen thei my&yogh;ten be ioynede to
gidere;
18 and fifti brasun knoppis with
whiche the roof my&yogh;te be knyt, and o
mantil be made of alle the sarges.
19 And
he made the couertour of the tabernacle
of skynnes of wethers maad reed, and
another aboue the veyle of skynnes maad
blew.
20 And he made the tablis of the tabernacle
of the trees of Sichym stondynge;
21 of ten cubites was the lengthe of
the to table, and other half cubijt the
brede heeld.
22 Two rabitynges weren bi
eche tables, that the tone to `that other
my&yogh;t be ioyned; so he made in alle the
tablis of the tabernacle.
23 Of the whiche
twenti weren at the mydday coost a&yogh;ens
the sowth, with fourti silueren footstakys;
24
two footstakis vndur o table weren put
at eithir parti of the corners, where the
rabityngis of the sides in the corners
weren endid.
25 At the coost forsothe of
the tabernacle that biholdith to the north
he made twenti tablis,
26 with fourti silueren

footstakis, two footstakis bi eche
tablis.
27 A&yogh;ens the west forsothe, that is
at that parti of the tabernacle that biholdith
the see,
28 he maad six tables, and
two other bi eche corners of the tabernacle
bihynde,
29 the whiche weren ioyned
fro benethe vnto abouen, and in to o ioynyng
togidere thei weren born; so he made
on eithir parti bi the corners,
30 that ei&yogh;t
tablis weren togidere, and hadden sixtene
silueren footstakis, that is, two silueren
footstakis vnder eche tablis.
31 And he made
berynge staues, fyue of the trees of Sichym
to hold togidere the tablis of the
to side of the tabernacle,
32 and fyue othere
to make togidere the tables of the tother
side, and withouten thes, fyue othere berynge
staues at the west coost of the tabernacle
a&yogh;ens the see.
33 And he made
another berynge staf, that shulde come
thur&yogh; the myddil tables fro corner vnto
corner.
34 And thilk tablid thingis he giltide,
&yogh;otun the siluer footstakis of hem, and he
made the cercles of hem golden, bi the
whiche the berynge barres my&yogh;ten be lad
ynne, the whiche and hem he couerde
with golden platis.
35 And he made the
veyle dyuerse and sondrye, of iacynct,
and purpur, `reed silk, and bijs foldid
a&yogh;en, with browdrye werk;
36 and foure pileris
of the trees of Sichym, the whiche
with the heedis he gildide, &yogh;oten the siluer
footstakis of hem.
37 And he made a
tente in the entre of the tabernacle, of
iacynct, and purpur, reed silk, and bijs
foldid a&yogh;en, with the werk of nedlis;
38 and
fyue pylers with her heedis, the whiche
he couerde with gold, and the brasun
footstakis of hem he &yogh;etide, the whiche
he couerde with gold.
