noteWyle thou not folewe bi enuye in

2 For as hei swiftli thei shuln
waxe drie; and as wrtis of erbis soone
thei shul falle doun.
3 Hope in the Lord,
and do goodnesse; and indwelle thou
the erthe, and thou shalt be fed in the
richesses of it.
4 Delite in the Lord; and
he shal &yogh;iue to thee the askingus of thin
herte.
5 Opene to the Lord thi weie; and
hope in hym, and he shal do.
6 And he
shal bringen out as li&yogh;t thi ri&yogh;twisnesse,
and thi dom as mydday;
7 soget be thou
to the Lord, and pre&yogh;e hym. Wile thou
not folewe bi enuye in hym that waxeth
welsum in his weie; and in man doende
vnri&yogh;twisnessis.
8 Lef of fro wrathe, and
forsac wodnesse; wile thou not folewe

Lord, thei shuln eritagen the erthe.
10 And
&yogh;it a litil, and the synnere shal not ben;
and thou shalt seche the place of hym,
and not finde.
11 The debonere forsothe
shuln eritagen the erthe; and deliten in
the multitude of pes.
12 The synnere shal
waite the ri&yogh;twis; and gnaste vp on hym
with his teth.
13 The Lord forsothe shal
scorne hym; for he beheeld forth that
his day come.
14 The synneres drowen out
swerd; and benten ther bowe. That thei
desceyue the pore and the helpeles; that
-- --
thei to-hewe the ri&yogh;te men in herte.
15 The
swerd of hem entre in to ther hertes; and
the bowe of hem be to-broke.
16 Betere is
a litil to the ri&yogh;twis; ouer manye richessis
of synneres.
17 For the armys of synneres
shul be to-brosid; forsothe the Lord confirmeth
ri&yogh;twis men.
18 The Lord knew&yogh;
the da&yogh;is of the vnwemmed; and the
eritage of hem with oute ende shal be.
19 Thei shul not ben confoundid in an euel
time, and in the da&yogh;es of hungir thei
shul be fulfild;
20 for synneres shul pershen.
The enemys forsothe of the Lord,
anoon as thei shul be maad wrshipeful,
and enhauncid; failende as smoke thei
shul faile.
21 The synnere shal borewe,
and not pa&yogh;en; the ri&yogh;twis forsothe hath
merci, and shal &yogh;elde.
22 For blessende to
hym thei shuln eritage the erthe; cursende
forsothe to hym shul doun pershe.
23 Anent the Lord the going of man shal
be dressid; and the weie of hym he
shal wiln.
24 Whan the ri&yogh;twis shal fallen,
he shal not ben hurtlid; for the Lord
vnderput his hond.
25 &YOGH;ungere I was, and
forsothe I eldede; and I sa&yogh; not the ri&yogh;twise
forsake, ne his sed sechende bred.
26 Al dai he hath reuthe, and leeneth; and
his sed shal ben in blessing.
27 Bowe doun
fro euel, and do good; and indwelle in to
the world of world.
28 For the Lord looueth
dom, and he shal not forsake his seyntus;
thei shul be togidere kept in to with oute
ende. Vnri&yogh;twise shul be punshid; and
the sed of vnpitouse shal pershen.
29 Ri&yogh;twise
forsothe shuln eritagen the erthe;
and indwelle in to the world of world
vp on it.

31 The lawe of his God in the
herte of hym; and his goingus shul not be

32 The synnere beholdeth the
ri&yogh;twise; and secheth to slen hym.
33 The
Lord forsothe shal not forsaken hym in
-- --
his hondis; ne dampne him whan it shal
be demed to hym.
34 Abyd the Lord, and
kep his weie, and he shal enhaunce thee,
that bi eritage thou take the erthe; whan
synneres shul pershe, thou shalt see.
35 I sa&yogh;
the vnpitouse aboue hauncid; and rerid
vp as cedris of Liban.
36 And I passide,
and lo! he was not; I so&yogh;te hym, and
ther is not founden his place.
37 Kep innocence,
and see equite; for thei ben relikis
to a pesible man.
38 The vnri&yogh;twise forsothe
shul doun pershe togidere; the relikis
of vnpitous men shul dien.
39 The
helthe forsothe of the ri&yogh;twis of the Lord;
and the defendere of hem he is in time

40 And the Lord shal

pullen hem out fro synneres; and sauen
hem, for thei hopeden in hym.
