founde not.
5 Hungrende and thirstende;
the soule of hem in hem failide.

thei crieden to the Lord, whan thei weren

hem out.
7 And he bro&yogh;te hem thennus
in to a ri&yogh;t weye; that thei shulde go in
to the cite of wonyng.

30 And thei
gladeden, for thei were stille; and he
bro&yogh;te hem out in to the hauene of the
wil of hem.

32 And enhaunce thei hym in the

elderis preise thei hym.

of watris in to thirst.

dwellende in it.
35 He putte desert in to
pondis of watris; and the erthe withoute
water in to the issues of watris.
36 And
he sette there the hungry men; and thei
ordeyneden a cite of wonyng.
37 And thei
seewen feeldis, and plaunteden vines;
and maden the frut off birthe.
38 And he
blisside to hem, and thei ben multiplied
ful myche; and the bestis of hem he
lasside not.
39 And fewe thei ben maad,
and ben ouertrauailid; fro tribulacioun of
euelis and sorewe.
40 Held out is strif vp
on the princis; and to erren he made
hem in withoute weye, and not in the
weie.
41 And he halp the pore man fro
myseise; and putte as shep meynes.
42 Ri&yogh;t men shul seen, and gladen; and
