CHAP. I. 1 To shewe that the doctrine which Christ brought, is most excellent, in that it is the knitting vp of all prophecies, 4 he aduanceth him aboue the Angels: 10 And proueth by diuers testimonies of the Scripture, that he farre passeth all other.

At note sundry times and in diuers maners God spake in the olde time to our fathers by the Prophetes: in these note last dayes hee hath spoken vnto vs by his note Sonne,

noteWhom he hath made note heire of al things, by whome also he made the note worldes,

noteWho being the note brightnes of the glory, and the ingraued forme of his note person, and note bearing vp all things by his mightie worde, note hath by himselfe purged our sinnes, and note sitteth at the right hand of the Maiestie in the highest places,

noteAnd is made so much more excellent then the Angels, in as much as hee hath obteined a more excellent note Name then they.

noteFor vnto which of the Angels saide he at any time, note Thou art my Sonne, note this day begate I thee? note and againe, I note will be his Father, and he shalbe my Sonne?

noteAnd note againe, when he bringeth in his first begotten Sonne into the worlde, hee saith, note And let all the Angels of God worship him.

noteAnd of the Angels he saith, note He maketh the spirites his note messengers, and his ministers a flame note of fire.

But vnto the Sonne he saith, note O God, thy note throne is for euer note and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a note scepter of righteousnes.

Thou hast loued righteousnes & note hated iniquitie. Wherefore God, eu&ebar; thy God, hath note anointed thee &wt; the oyle of gladnes aboue thy note felowes.

noteAnd, note Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast note established the earth, and the heauens are the workes of thine handes.

They shall perish, but thou doest remaine: and they all shall waxe olde as doeth a garment.

And as a vesture shalt thou folde them vp, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not faile.

noteVnto which also of the Angels saide he at any time, note Sit at my right hand, til I make thine enemies thy footestoole?

Are they not al note ministring spirits, sent forth to minister, for their sakes which shalbe heires of saluation?
