Lift vp thine hande ouer the outl&abar;dish Heithen, þt; they maye lerne to knowe thy might ∧ power. Like as thou art halowed in vs before them, so brynge to passe, þt; thou mayest be magnified also in them before vs: þt; they maye knowe the, like as we knowe the. For there is none other God, but onely thou O LORDE. Renue the tokens, ∧ chaunge the wonderous workes. Shewe thine h&abar;de and thy right arme gloriously. Rayse thy indignacion, ∧ poure out thy wrath. Take awaye the aduersary, ∧ smyte the enemye. Make þe; tyme shorte, remembre thy couenaunt, that þi; wonderous workes maye be praysed. Let the wrath of the fyre consume them, that lyue so careles: and let them perish, that do þi; people hurte. Smyte in sonder the heade of the prynces, that be oure enemies, and saye: there is none other but we.

B   Gather all þe; trybes of Iacob together againe, þt; they maie knowe, how þt; there is none other God but onely thou, þt; they maie shew thy wonderous workes, and be thy people ∧ heretage, like as from the begynninge. O LORDE haue mercy vpon the people þt; hath þi; name, ^note ∧ vp&obar; Israel, whom thou hast lickened to a first borne sonne. O be merciful vnto Ierusal&ebar; the cite of thy Sanctuary, þe; cite of thy rest. ^noteFyll Sion with thy vnspeakeable vertues, ∧ þi; people &wt; thy glory. Geue wytnes vnto þi; creature, whom thou maydest from the begynnynge, and rayse vp the prophecies þt; haue bene shewed in thy name. Rewarde them þt; wayte for the, þt; thy prophetes maye be founde faithfull. O LORDE heare the prayer of thy seruauntes, acordinge to þe; blessinge of Aaron ouer thy people: ^note that all they which dwell vpon earth, maye knowe, that thou art the LORDE the eternall God, which is from euerlastinge.

C   The bely deuoureth all meates, yet is one meate better then another. Like as the tonge taisteth venyson, ^note so doth an hert of vnderstondinge marck false wordes. A frowarde hert geueth heuynes, but a man of experience lifteth him vp agayne. The woman receaueth euery man, yet is one daughter better then another. A fayre wife reioyseth hir hu&esset;bande, and a man loueth nothinge better. Yf she be louynge ∧ vertuous withall, then is not hir hu&esset;bande like other men. He that hath gotten a vertuous woman, hath a goodly possession: she is vnto him an helpe and piler wher vpon he resteth. Where no hedge is, there the goodes are spoyled: and where no hou&esset;wife is, there þe; fr&ebar;dles mourneth. Like as there is no credence geuen to a robber, þt; goeth from one cite to another: So is not þe; man beleued, that hath no nest, and must turne in, where he maye abyde in the night.
