1   And I si&yogh;e an aungel comynge doun fro heuene, hauynge the keye of depnesse, and a greet cheyne in his hond. 2   And he cau&yogh;te the dragoun, the olde serpent, that is the deuel and Sathanas; and he boonde him bi a thousynd &yogh;eeris. 3   And he sente him in to depnesse, and closide, and signede, `or selide, on him, that he deceyue no more folkes, til a thousynd &yogh;eeris be fulfillid. Jhesu, and for the word of God, and hem that worschepiden not the beest, nether the ymage of it, nether token the carect of it in forhedis, or in her hondis. And thei lyueden, and regneden `with Crist a thousynd &yogh;eer. 5   The othere of deede men lyueden not, til a thousynd &yogh;eeres be endid. This the first a&yogh;en risyng. 6   Blessid and holy he, that hath paart in the first a&yogh;en risyng. And the deuel, that deceyuede hem, is sent in to the pool of fijr and brunston, 10   where and the beest and false prophetes shulen be tourmentid day and ni&yogh;t, in to worldlis of worldlis. 11   Amen. And I si&yogh;e a greet white trone, and the sittynge on it, fro whois si&yogh;t erthe flei&yogh; and heuen; and place is not founden of hem. 12   And I si&yogh;e deede men, greete and smale, stondinge in the si&yogh;t of the trone; and bookes ben openyd; and an othir book is openyd, that is the book of lijf; and deede men ben demyd of thes thingis that weren write in the bookis, aftir the werkes of hem. 13   And the se &yogh;af his deede men, that weren in it; and deeth and helle &yogh;auen her deede men,
