1 This is the boke of the generacioun of
Adam, in the day in which God made

daies of Adam ben maad after that he
gat Seth ei&yogh;te hundrid &yogh;eer, and he gat
sones and dow&yogh;tres.
5 And al the tyme is
maad in the which Adam lyuede nyne
hundrid and thritti &yogh;eer, and deed he is.
6 Seth forsothe lyuede an hundryd and fyue

7 And Seth lyuede
aftir that he gat Enos ei&yogh;t hundrid wyntir

9 Enos forsothe lyuede

Matusale lyuede an hundrid and
seuen and ei&yogh;ti &yogh;eer, and he gat Lameth.
26 And Matusale lyuede after that he had
getun Lameth seuene hundrid and two
and ei&yogh;ti wynter, and he gat sones and
dow&yogh;tris.
27 And alle the daies of Matusale
ben maad nyne hundrid and sixti and
nyne &yogh;eer, and deed he is.
28 Lameth forsothe
lyuede an hundryd and two and ei&yogh;ti
&yogh;eer, and he gat a sone;
29 and he callide
the name of hym Noe, seiynge, This shal
coumforte vs fro the werkis and the traueils
of oure hondis in the erthe, the
whiche werkis the Lord curside.
30 And
Lameth lyuede after that he gat Noe fyue
hundrid and fyue and nynti &yogh;eer, and he
gat sonys and dow&yogh;tris.
31 And alle the
daies of Lameth ben maad seuene hundryd
and seuenti and seuene &yogh;eer, and
deed he is. Noe forsothe whan he was
of fyue hundrid &yogh;eers, he gat Sem, Cam,
and Japheth.
