PSALM LXXVI.

2 noteIn my vois to the Lord I criede, in my
vois to God; and he tooc heede to me.
3 In the dai off my tribulacioun God I so&yogh;te
out with myn hondis; the ny&yogh;t forn a&yogh;en
hym, and I am not deseyued. My soule
forsoc to be coumfortid;
4 myndeful I was
of God, and dilitide, and am enhauntid,
and my spirit failide.
5 Myn e&yogh;en looke
`to forn wakingus; I am disturbid, and
I spac not.
6 I tho&yogh;te olde da&yogh;is; and euere
lastende &yogh;eeris in mynde I hadde.
7 And
I sweteli tho&yogh;te in the ny&yogh;t with myn
herte; and I was enhauntid, and `I
swepte my spirit.
8 Whether in to withoute
ende God shal throwe aferr; or he
shall not lei to, that he be more plesid

9 Or in to the ende his mercy he shal

17 Ther han seen thee watris,

and thei dredden; and disturbid ben the

18 The multitude of the soun of
