noteHou longe, Lord, thou for&yogh;etist me in to the ende? hou longe thou turnest awei thi face fro me? 2   Hou myche while I shal putte counseilis in my soule; sorewe in myn herte bi day? 3   Hou longe shall ben enhauncid myn enemy vp on me? 4   Behold, and ful out here me, Lord my God. Li&yogh;te thou myn e&yogh;en, lest any tyme I slepe al doun in deth; 5   lest sum time sey myn enemy, I haue wonnen the maistri a&yogh;en hym. That trubblen me shul ful out glade, if I shul be moued; 6   I forsothe in thi mercy haue hopid.
