1 The seuen and twentithe &yogh;eer of Jeroboam,
kyng of Yrael, regned Azarie, the
sone of Amazie, kyng of Juda;

regnen, and two and fyfty &yogh;eer he regnede
in Jerusalem; name of his modir,
Jecelia of Jerusalem.
3 And he dyde that,
that was plesaunt beforn the Lord, aftir
alle thingis that Amazias, his fadir, hadde

Lord forsothe smoote the kyng, and he

the paleys, and he demyde the
puple of the lond.

slepte with his fadirs; and they birieden

19 Alle the
days of hym came Phul, the kyng of
Assiries, in Thersa. And Manaheu gaue
to Phul a thousand talentis of syluer,
that he were to hym in to help, and that
he fasten his rewme;
20 and Manaheu comaundid
syluer vpon Yrael to alle the
my&yogh;ty and to the ryche, that he schulde
&yogh;eue to the kyng of Assiries; fyfty ciclis
of syluer, thoru&yogh; oute alle &yogh;eeris; and
the king of Assiries is turned a&yogh;ein, and
dwellide not in Therse.
21 The remnaunt
forsothe of the wordis of Manaheu, and
alle thingis that he dide, whether not
these ben writen in the boke of the

22 And Manaheu slepte with his
fadirs; and Phasaya, his sone, regnede for
hym.
23 The fyftythe &yogh;eer of Azaria, kyng
of Juda, regnede Phasaye, the sone of
Manaheu, vpon Yrael in Samarye two
&yogh;eer.
24 And he dyde that, that was euyl
before the Lord; and he wente not aweye
fro the synnes of Jeroboam, the sone of
Nabath, that maad Yrael to synnen.
25 Forsothe
Phacee, the sone of Romelie, duyk
of his hoost, coniurede a&yogh;eyn hym, and
smoote hym in Samarye, in the toure of
the kyngis hous, bisydis Argob, and bisidis
Arib, and with hym fyfty men of
the sonis of Galaditis; and he slew&yogh; hym,

synnes of Jeroboam, the sone of Nabath,

29 In the days
of Phacee, kyng of Yrael, came Theglath
Falasar, the kyng of Assur, and toke
Ayon, and Aybel, the hous of Maacha,
and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad,
and Galilee, and al the lond of
Neptalym; and translatyde hem in to
Assiries.
30 Forsothe Osee, the sone of
Hela, coniurede, and bende busschementis
a&yogh;eyns Phacee, the sone of Romelie, and
smoote hym and slew&yogh;; and for hym
regned, the twentithe &yogh;eer of Jonathan,
the sone of Osee.
31 The remnaunt forsothe
of the wordis of Phacee, and alle
thingis that he dyde, whether thes ben
not writen in the boke of the wordis of
the days of the kyngis of Yrael?
32 The
secounde &yogh;eer of Phacee, the sone of Romelye,
kyng of Yrael, regnede Joathan,
the sone of Osee, kyng of Juda;
33 of fyue

to regnen, and sixtene &yogh;eer he
regned in Jerusalem; name of his modir

puple offred, and brent encense in hei&yogh;tis;
he bylde up the altherhee&yogh;ist &yogh;aat of the
hous of the Lord.
