8   Ða oðre leorning-cnihtas reowon þar-to. hi wæron unfeor fram lande. swylce hit wære twa hund elna ∧ tugon hyra fisc-nett;

10   Ða cwæð se hælend to him. bringað þa fixas þe ge nu ge-fengon;


11   Sim&odia;n petrus eode &udia;pp ∧ teh his nett on land micelra fixa full þæra wæs hund-teontig ∧ ðreo ∧ fiftig; ∧ ða hyra swa fæla wæs. næs &thaet; net tobrocen;


12   Ða cwæð se hælend to him. gað hider ∧ &edia;tað; And n&adia;n þæra þe þar sæt ne dorste hine axian hwæt he wære. hi wiston &thaet; hit wæs drihten;


13   ∧ se hælend c&odia;m ∧ nam hlaf ∧ eac f&idia;sc ∧ sealde him;


14   On ðyson wæs se hælend þriwa geswutelud his leorning-cnihton þa he aras of deaðe;


15   Ða hi ædia;ton note þa cwæð se hælend to s&idia;m&odia;ne petre; Sim&odia;n iohannis lufast ðu me. swiðor þænne ðas; He cwæð to him. gea drihten þu wast &thaet; ic þe lufige he cwæð to him. heald mine l&adia;mb;

16   He cwæð eft to him; Sim&odia;n iohannis lufast ðu me. he cwæð to him gea drihten þu wast &thaet; ic ðe lufige; Ða cwæð he to him heald mine lamb;


17   He cwæð þriddan siðe to him. sim&odia;n iohannis lufast ðu me. Ða wæs petrus sarig. forþam þe he cwæð þriddan siðe to him lufast þu me; And he cwæð to him. drihten þu wast ealle þing. þu wast &thaet; ic þe lufige; Ða cwæð he to him heald mine sceap;


18   Soð ic secge þe. þa þu gingra wære. þu gyrdest þe ∧ eodest þær þu woldyst. Witodlice þonne þu ealdast þu strecst þine handa ∧ oðer þe gyrt. ∧ læt þyder þe þu nelt;


19    note Ðæt he sæde witodlice ∧ tacnude hwylcon deaðe he wolde god geswuteligan; And þa he &thaet; sæde þa cwæð he to him. fylig me;


20   Ða petrus hine bewende þa geseah he &thaet; se leorning-cniht him fylide þe se hælend lufode. se þe hlinode on gebeorscype ofer his breost ∧ cwæð; Drihten. hwæt ys se ð&edia; belæwð;


21   Witodlice þa petrus þysne geseah. þa cwæð he to þam hælende. Drihten. hwæt sceal þes;


22   Ða cwæð se hælend to him. ic wylle &thaet; he wunige ðus oð ic cume. cwæð (sic; over erasure) to þe. fylig ðu me;

23   Witodlice ðeos spræc c&odia;m &udia;t gemang broþrum &thaet; se leorning-cniht ne swylt. ∧ ne cwæð se hælend to him ne swylt he. ac ðus ic wylle &thaet; he wunige oð ic cume cwæð (sic; over erasure) to þe;


24   Þis ys se leorning-cniht þe cyð ge-witnysse be þyson ∧ wrat ðas þing; And [we] witon &thaet; hys gewrit ys soð;


25   Witodlice oðre manega þing synt þe se hælend worhte gif ða ealle awritene wæron. ic wene ne mihte þes middan-eard ealle þa bec befon. Amen.
