A   Lorde, thou barest a loue vnto thy land thou dydest brynge agayne the captyuyte of Iacob.

Thou dydest forgeue the offence of thy people, and couerdest al their synnes. 05Q0677Sela.

Thou takest away al thy displeasure, and turnedest thy selfe from thy wrathfull indignacyon.

Turne vs then. O God oure Sauyoure, and let thyne anger ceasse from vs.

Wylt thou be dyspleased at vs for euer? wylt thou stretch out thy wrath from one generacyon to another?

Wylt thou not turne agayne and quyck&ebar; vs, that thy people maye reioyse in the?

B   I wyll herken what the Lorde God wyll saye05Q0678 for he shall speake peace vnto hys people and to hys saynctes, that they turne not them selues vnto folyshnes.

For hys saluacyon is nye them that feare hym so, that glory shall dwell in oure lande.

Mercy and trueth are met together, ryghtuousnesse and peace kysseth eche other.

Trueth shall ryse oute of the earthe, and ryghtuousnesse shal loke downe from heau&ebar;

And why? the Lorde shall shewe louynge kyndnesse, and oure lande shal geue her encrease.
