PERHAPS TRUE.

A paper begins a paragraph eulogistic — “Price, the
immortal friend of mothers,” &c. We are assured, by a
friend at our elbow that knows, that price is no object
with some mothers; and that however much it may be
pretended that Price is the mother's friend, it is a notorious
fact that price is obnoxious to fathers.
