PSAL. XXVI. 1 Dauid oppressed with many iniuries, finding no helpe in the worlde, calleth for aide from God: and assured of his integritie toward Saul, desireth God to be his iudge, and to defend his innocencie. 6 Finally he maketh mention of his sacrifice, which he will offer for his deliuerance, and desireth to be in the companie of the faithfull in the Congregation of God, whence he was banished by Saul, promising integritie of life, and open praises and thankesgiuing. ¶2; A Psalme of Dauid.

Ivdge me, note O Lorde, for I haue walked in mine innocency: my trust hath bene also in the Lord: therefore shall I not slide.

Proue me, O Lorde, and trie mee: examine my note reines, and mine heart.

For thy note louing kindnesse is before mine eyes: therefore haue I walked in thy trueth.

I haue not note hanted with vaine persons, neither kept companie with the dissemblers.

I haue hated the assemblie of the euill, and haue not companied with the wicked. Dauids request.

I will note wash mine handes in innocencie, O Lord, and compasse thine altar,

That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.

O Lorde, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

noteGather not my soule with the sinners, nor my life with the bloodie men:

In whose handes is note wickednes, and their right hand is full of bribes.

But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.

My foote standeth in note vprightnesse: I will praise thee, O Lord, in the Congregations.
