PSAL. CXXVI. 1 This Psalme was made after the returne of the people from Babylon, and sheweth that the meane of their deliuerance was wonderfull after the seuentie yeeres of captiuitie fore spoken by Ieremie chap.25.12 and 29.10. ¶2; A song of degres, or Psalme of Dauid.


1   VVhen þe; Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them þt; note dreame.


2   Then was our mouth note filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the note heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.


3   The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.


4   O Lord, bring againe our captiuitie, as the note riuers in the South.


5   They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.


6   They went weeping and caried note precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.
