Lillian Gary Taylor; Robert C. Taylor; Eveline V. Maydell, N. York 1923.
George S. T. Oliver
[figure description] 556EAF. Paste-Down Endpaper with Bookplates (2): The Taylor bookplate is of two silhouettes of seated man on right side and seated woman on left side. The man is seated in a adjustable, reclining armchair, smoking a pipe and reading a book held in his lap. A number of books are on the floor next to or beneath the man's chair. The woman is seated in an armchair and appears to be knitting. An occasional table (or end table) with visible drawer handles stands in the middle of the image, between the seated man and woman, with a vase of flowers and other items on it. Handwritten captions appear below these images. The second bookplate is a simple white rectangle that is framed with what looks like the tops of a fence. In the center, in Gothic script, is the name George S. T. Oliver.[end figure description]
