And he puttide his ri&yogh;thond on me, seiynge, Nyle thou drede; I am the first and the last; 18   and I am alyue, and I was deed; and lo! I am lyuynge in to worldlis of worldlis, and I haue the keyes of deeth and helle. 19   Therefore wrijte thou whiche thinges thou hast seyn, and whiche ben, and whiche it bihoueth for to be don aftir thes thinges. 20   The mysterie, `or priuytee, of seuene sterris, whom thou si&yogh;e in my ri&yogh;thalf, and the seuen golden candelstickes; the seuen sterres ben aungels of seuene chirchis, and the seuene candelstickes ben seuene chirches.
