seid these thingis, `he takinge breed dide

not lond; forsothe thei biheelden sum
hauene hauynge a water banke, into which

the schipp.
40 And whanne thei hadden
takun vp the ancris, thei bitoken hem to
the see, `to gidere slakinge the ioyntours
of gouernaylis. And a litil seil lift vp,
vp blowinge of the wynd thei wenten to
the banke.
41 And whanne we felden into
a place of grauel gon al aboute with the
see, thei hurtliden the schipp. And the
formere part ficchid, dwellide vnmouable;
sothli the laste part was brokyn of
strengthe of the see.
42 Sothli counceil of
the kny&yogh;tis was, for to sle men in the
