CAP. XIV.
1 Loo! days cummen, saith the Lord,
and thi spuylis shuln be departid in mydil
of thee.
2 And Y shal gadre alle folkis
to Jerusalem, in to bateyl; and the citee

shal be taken, and housis shuln be distruyed,
and wymmen shuln be defoulid.
And the mydil part of the citee shal go
out in to caitiftee, and the tother of the
peple shal not be taken awey fro the
citee.
3 And the Lord shal go out, and
shal fi&yogh;te a&yogh;einus the folkis, as he fau&yogh;te
in the day of stryf.
4 And his feet shuln
stonde in that day on the hill of olyues,
that is a&yogh;eins Jerusalem at the eest. And
the hill of olyues schal be coruen of the
myddel part therof to the eest and to the
west, the greet valey bifore brokyn; and
the myddel of that hill be departid to
the north, and the myddil therof to the
mydday, or southe.
5 And &yogh;e shuln flee
to the valey of myn hillis, for the valey
of hillis shuln be ioyned togidre vn to
the next. And &yogh;e shuln flee, as &yogh;e fledden
fro face of the erthe mouynge in the
days of Osee, kyng of Juda; and the
Lord my God shal cumme, and alle
sayntis with hym.
6 And it shal be, in
that day li&yogh;t shal not be, bot colde and
frost.
7 And ther shal be oo day, whiche
is knowen to the Lord, not day, nether
ni&yogh;t, and in tyme of euyn li&yogh;t shal be.
8 And it shal be, in that day quyck waters
shuln go out of Jerusalem, the mydil of
hem to the eest see, and the mydil of
hem to the last see; in somer and in
wynter thei shuln be.
9 And the Lord
shal be kyng on al erthe; in that day
ther shal be oo Lord, and his name shal
be oon.
10 And eche erthe shal turne a&yogh;ein
vnto desert, fro the litil hill Remmon to
the south of Jerusalem. And it shal be
reysid, and shal dwelle in his place, fro
the &yogh;ate of Beniamyn til to the place of
the former &yogh;ate, and vn to the &yogh;ate of
corners, and fro the tour of Ananyel vnto
pressours of the kyng.
11 And thei
shuln dwelle therynne, and cursidnesse
shal namore be, bot Jerusalem shal sitte

sykir.
12 And this shal be the plage, by
whiche the Lord shal smyte alle folkis,
that fou&yogh;ten a&yogh;einus Jerusalem; the
fleshe of eche man stondinge vpon his
feet shal fayle, or rote, and his ee&yogh;en
shuln faile to gydre in her hoolis, and
his tunge shal faile to gydre in his
mouth.
13 In that day grete noyse of the
Lord shal be in hem, and a man shal
catche the hond of his nei&yogh;bore; and his
hond shal be lockid to gidre on the hond
of his nei&yogh;bore.
14 Bot and Judas shal fi&yogh;te
a&yogh;einus Jerusalem; and ricchessis of alle
folkis in cumpas shuln be gadred to gider,
gold, and syluer, and many clothis
ynowe.
15 And so fallyng shal be of hors,
and mule, and camel, and asse, and of
alle werc beestis, that weren in tho
castellis, as this fallyng.
16 And alle that
shuln be residu of alle folkis, that camen
a&yogh;einus Jerusalem, shuln stye vp fro &yogh;eere
`in to &yogh;eer, that thei wirshipen the kyng,
Lord of oostis, and halewe the feest of
tabernaclis.
17 And it shal be, thei that
shuln not stye vp of the meynees of erthe
to Jerusalem, that thei wirshipe the
kyng, Lord of oostus, reyn shal not be
on hem.
18 That and &yogh;if the meynee of
Egypt shal not stye vp, and shal not cum,
nether on hem shal be; bot fallynge shal
be, bi whiche the Lord shal smyte alle
folkis, whiche stieden not vp, for to halewe
the fest of tabernaclis.
19 This shal
be the synne of Egypt, and this the
synne of alle folkis, that stieden not vp,
for to halewe the fest of tabernaclis.
20 In
that day, it shal be, on whiche thing the
bridil of hors is hooly to the Lord; and
caudrons shuln be in the hous of the
Lord, as cruetis byfore the auter.
21 And
euery caudron in Juda and Jerusalem
shal be halewid to the Lord of oostis.
And alle men shuln cum offrynge, and

shuln take of hem, and shuln seethe in
hem; and a marchaunt shal namore be
in hous of the Lord of oostus in that
day.
