that thei knowe for ther is not God, but
thou; that thei telle out thi grete wrthi

folkis, that they see thi my&yogh;t.
4 As forsothe
in the si&yogh;te of hem thou art halewed
in vs, so in oure si&yogh;te thou shalt be
magnefied in hem;
5 that thei knowe thee,

other God, saue thee, Lord.

thou signes, and chaunge merueiles;
7 glorifie

23 The womman
schal taken eche male child, and ther is

24 The fairnesse
of a womman gladith out the face
of hyr man, and ouer alle lust of the
man she shal `ouer leden desyr.

ther is tunge of curing, ther is and of
swaging, and of mercy; the man of hir
is not aftir the sonus of men.
26 Who weldith
a good womman, bigyneth possessioun;
helpe aftir hym she is, and a
piler as reste.
27 Wher is not hegge, shal
ben to-broken the possessioun; and
where is not a womman, weileth the
nedy.
28 To whom byleeueth he that hath
not a nest, and bowing doun wher euere
shal ben derk, as a gird vp thef, lepende
