23 God vnderstant the weie
of it, and he knew&yogh; the place of it.
24 He
forsothe looketh the endis of the world;
and alle thingus that ben vnder heuene
he beholdeth.
25 That made to windis peis,
and watris heeng vp in mesure.
26 Whan
he putte to reynes lawe, and weie to
sounende tempestis;
27 thanne he sa&yogh; it,
and tolde out, and made redi beforn, and
enserchide.
28 And he seide to man, Lo!
the drede of God, it is wisdam; and to
gon awei fro euel, vnderstonding.
