23   And hwi ne sealdest þ&udia; min feoh to h&ydia;re. ∧ þonne ic c&odia;me ic hit witodlice mid gestreone onfenge;


24   Ða cwæð he to þam þe him ab&udia;tan st&odia;don. nimað &thaet; pund fram him ∧ syllað þam þe hæfð &adia;n pund;


25   Ða cwædia;don hig to him hlaford. he hæfð tyn pund;


26   Soðlice ic secge eow &thaet; ælcum hæbbendum bið geseald fram þam þe næfð. ge &thaet; &thaet; he hæfð him byð afyrred;


27   Ðeah-hwæþere þa mine fynd þe noldon &thaet; ic ofer hig rixude. lædað hider ∧ of-sleað hig beforan me.

36   ∧ þa he for. hi strehton under hine hyra r&edia;af on þam wege.


37   ∧ þa he ge-nealæhte to oliu&edia;tes muntes nyðer-st&idia;ge. þa ongunnon ealle þa menego geblissian. ∧ mid mycelre stefne god heredon be eallum þam mihtum þe hig gesawun.


38   ∧ cwædia;don; Gebletsud sy se cyning þe com on drihtnes naman. syb sy on heofenum. ∧ wuldor on heahnessum;

44   ∧ to eorþan afyllað þe ∧ þine bearn þe on ðe synt. ∧ hig ne læfað on þe st&adia;n ofer st&adia;ne. forþam þe ðu ne on-cneowe þa t&idia;de þ&idia;nre geneosunge;


45   Ða ongan he of þam temple ut-dr&idia;fan þa syllendan ∧ ða bicgendan.


46   ∧ him to cwæð; Hit ys awriten &thaet; min hus ys gebed-h&udia;s. ge hit worhton to sceaðena scræfe.


47   ∧ he wæs dæg-hwamlice on þam temple lærende;
Soþlice þara sacerda ealdras ∧ þa boceras ∧ þæs folces ealdor-men smeadon hu hig hine fordon mihton.


48   ∧ hig ne fundon hwæt hi him to gylte dydon; Soðlice eall folc wæs abysgod þe be him gehyrde secgan;
